Job Description
We have a great opportunity on our Java development Team for a Senior Java Web Developer. Reporting to the Web Development Team Lead.
We are looking for someone that can design and develop our most complex front-end web applications. This role may work in all aspects of software development, but this position's primary functions will center around developing our most complex web applications with an emphasis on user interface development for web browsers. This position will:

Essential Functions:
- Design, develop and maintain the company's most complex custom software and associated technical documentation.
- Estimate development efforts for assigned new project and change requests.
- Provide problem resolution for assigned tasks.
- Coach and have the ability to supervise other, less experienced members of the team.
- Design and develop the company's most complex front-end web applications

Job Requirements
Education and Experience Required Education & Experience:
- BA/BS/Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical degree, or the equivalent in work experience.
- Minimum of 1+ years object-oriented programming utilizing Java

Targeted Skills & Experience:
- JavaScript including AJAX and frameworks (e.g, jQuery)
- HTTP
- HTML and CSS
- JSP and Servlets
- Front-end Java frameworks (e.g., Struts, Struts 2, Spring MVC)
- Web servers (e.g., Apache HTTP Server, TOMCAT)
- SQL and database experience (mainly Sybase but also Oracle and MS SQL Server)
- System and enterprise architecture
- Change control software (e.g., CVS, SVN, GIT)
- Full software development lifecycle

Other Desirable Experience:
- Web Content Management System experience
- Spring/ Struts/ Hibernate
- Web Services (i.e., REST and SOAP)
- Java application servers (e.g,. WebLogic Server)
