Job Description

• Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
• Meet accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
• Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data.
• Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts.
• Defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy, applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Disbursement of checks for company expenses.
• Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits.

Job Requirements

• A good OND, HND or B.Sc in accounting with 3 years experience.
• Applicants that resides along Lagos Island, Obalande and Yaba axis will be preferred.

Skills:

• Problem analysis and solving
• Good communication skill both verbal and writing
• Good knowledge and use of Accounting software such as Excel, Peachtree, Sage e.t.c
• Excellent negotiating skill
• Confident and poised in interactions with individuals at various levels
