Our Client a multinational is in need of qualified candidates for the following position.
Position :On Call Help Desk Operators
Employment Type: Contract (8 Months)
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years work experience of Information Technology.
- Ability to demonstrate the company values.
- Must have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any related field.
- Strong understanding of MS Office applications and Windows Operating Systems.
- Must have excellent phone manners.
- Must be customer orientated.
- Highly effective inter-personal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at different levels and from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Flexibility and ability to respond quickly and adequately to new sets of priorities.
- Excellent team player.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Familiar with working within an ITIL environment – (added advantage).
Responsibilities
- Ensure all reported Incidents are properly logged/categorized into the Issues Tracking Tool (Magic).
- Ensure all allocated incidents are resolved within the agreed SLA.
- Check and process requests received from Self Service/Phone & Email.
- Ensure that unresolved incidents and problems are timely escalated to 2nd Level Support.
- Ensure that targeted Customer Satisfaction Rating is achieved.
- Provide remote access support.
- Coach the user community on IT tools to improve their productivity.
- Develop self in any of the core service areas for career development and efficiency.
- Successfully execute appropriate task assigned.
