Job Description
Scalite Industry outfit located in Anambra requires the services of a qualified candidate to fill this position.

Responsibilities:
Overseeing the production process and drawing up a production plan.
Ensuring that production is cost effective.
Making sure that products are produced on time and of good quality.
Working out the human and material resources needed.
Drafting a time scale for the job.
Estimating costs and setting the quality standard.
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
Monitoring product standard and implementing quality control programme.
Leasing among different departments egg suppliers, marketers.
Working with managers to implement the companies policies and goals.
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Supervising and motivating a team of workers.
Reviewing the performance of subordinates.
Identifying training needs.
Good knowledge of chemical component of the soap" especially oil", characteristics and chemical reaction of the raw materials.
Ability to carry on with research and development and formulate new soap products . Liquid and solid soaps , as the market gap indicates.
Ability to work with the marketers to identify market gap for new products or same product @ different pack sizes.
At least Five years experience in a soap manufacturing firm.
Christian preferably.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelors degree in related field.
3-5 years experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
Experience in soap production industry is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Demonstrated knowledge of various production management techniques and practices.
Self starter; must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Computer literate with experience with an enterprise management or other production management software.
Must be available to work weekends.
