A leading manufacturing company in Nigeria, with a range of products that have become integral to every house hold in the country, is looking to revamp its challenging HR Department with a qualified, experienced professional in the Head of Human Resource capacity. To qualify applicants must:
? Have a minimum of six years experience in Human Resource and Administration
? Have a BSc in Administration, the social sciences or any related discipline
? Have a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management
? Be a member of a recognized relevant association, i.e. CIPM, CIPD
? Show evidence of excellent man-managing abilities at the highest level
The Head of Hr will be expected to:
Report to Chief Operating Officer
Plan develop and implement strategy for HR management and development, including but not limited to: recruitment and selection policies and practices, discipline, grievance, counselling, pay , conditions, and benefit structure contracts, training and development. Succession planning, morale and motivation, and performance appraisals.
Liaise with other functional heads of department for a good understanding of their HR development needs, and to ensure they are fully aware of HR objectives, purposes and achievements.
Plan, develop and implement strategy for staff training and development.
Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of staff training and development.
