Saipen is calling for Engineering test

Saipen has invited me for an Engineering test on the 12th of November 08. Venue: Lagos Resource centre, No 9 Anifowase st. Victoria Island Lagos. I applied for Civil Graduate Trainee.

COST CONTROL ENGINEER: (REF: CCE 001)
First degree in numerate field preferably, Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years experience in a challenging environment.
A very good knowledge of MS office suites; Exceptional Knowledge of MS Excel is required. Knowledge of SAP and Primavera software would be an added advantage.


PLANNING ENGINEER: (Ref: PLE 001)
First degree /HND in Engineering or Project management.
Minimum of 4 years experience.
A very good knowledge of MS office suites; Exceptional knowledge of MS Excel. Must be able to use project management software, preferably, Primavera.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR (REF: QS 001)
First degree or HND in Quantity Survey, Building Technology or Civil Engineering
A good knowledge of MS office suites: MS Excel in particular
Must have at least 3 years experience in Quantity Surveying within the Oil and Gas sector.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL: (REF: QAQC 001)
First Degree/HND in Engineering or Applied Science
Must have at least 3 years experience working within the Oil and Gas sector.
Certification is desirable e.g. NASE, CWI, CISWIP 3.1 etc.

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER: (REF: DCC 001)
First Degree / HND in any Engineering or other relevant fields.
At least 4 years experience as a Document controller.
Good report writing skills is essential and a high level of computer proficiency is required


LAWYER (CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR): REF: LCA 001)
LLB Degree in Law.
At least 4 years experience working as a Contract Administrator within the Oil and Gas sector.
Good report writing skills is essential and a high level of computer proficient is required.

CIVIL WORKS QUALITY INSPECTOR: (REF: CWQC 001)
First Degree / HND in Civil or Construction Engineering.
Must have at least 4 years experience with 2 years of such spent in a similar position in a construction environment.

FIELD ENGINEER: (REF: FE 001)
first Degree / HND in Engineering.
Must have at least 5 years experience with 3 years of such spent in a similar position in a construction environment; Good knowledge of MS office application.

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER: (REF: CE 001)
First Degree/HND in Civil or Construction Engineering
Must have at least 4 years experience with 2 years of such spent in a similar position in a construction environment; Good working knowledge of planning tools and planning applications and exceptional working Ms Applications.

INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER: ( REF: IE 001)
First Degree / HND in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
Must have at least 5 years experience with 3 years of such spent in a similar position in an Engineering Design Environment; Good knowledge of MS office application



ELECTRICAL ENGINEER: ( REF: EE 001)
First Degree / HND in Electrical Engineering.
Must have at least 5 years experience with 3 years of such spent in a similar position in an Engineering Design Environment; Good knowledge of MS office application. Knowledge of Electrical Engineering design software is an added advantage.

CIVIL ENGINEERS (REF: CE 001)
First Degree / HND in Civil and Construction Engineering
Must have at least 5 years experience with 3 years of such spent in a similar position in an Engineering Design Environment; Good knowledge of MS office application. Knowledge of any Civil Engineering design software is an added advantage.

TAX MANAGER: (REF: TXM 001)
Bsc or HND in Accounting plus ICAN or ACCA.
Must have at least 5 years experience working with one of the big Audit firms; Additional experience in an international group, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector; SAP Knowledge would be a plus; Work Location is in Port Harcourt.

GRADUATE TRAINEES: (REF: GT CIVIL 001 / GT MECH 001)
Must hold a Second Class Upper degree or HND Upper Credit in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Must not be older than 27 years by December 2007.
