House!!!!
Can anyone give an info about pipeline engineering ?

Basic Pipeline Engineering and Design.
Thanks bro I appreciate.

be specific,which part of pipeline engineering.design or construction
@Peacesofpeace / Outlaw
Both...
To be precise I need a material that can give me an insight into the various areas of this field at the surface level.
So that I can build from there I appreciate your help so far guys.

Like i said, do a preliminary search on google first. You can check up curricula from different universities in the world and get what you want. What i can get readily is an M.Sc curriculum from the University of Newcastle as i have friends studying there right now BUT i wish you'l develop the culture of searching for/getting what you want from the internet.

@Peacesofpeace
Thanks for your concern.
The truth of the matter is that I have done a paintaking search on the internet for relevant materials but to no avail.
All they keep giving me are curriculum or modules of subtopics which lacks details hence my asking hope you do understand now.
Please! I have a good culture of searching/getting what I want from the internet so if I sent a post like this I have a good reason for it too.

hmmmmmmmmmm, lets see....... we are actually running a course on Pipeline Engr in our facilities. I should be able to lay my hand on a detailed material before the end of the week.
Cheers
@Blackydockie!!!
Thanks man how can I get in touch with you?
I need it despirately earnestly waiting for your reply.
Coolguy.

i believe, if you check the newcastle university website you might get some material, try their undergraduate sites for basic
Leave a good mark on the sand of time
First if you have an engineering background, review your courses in (1) continuity equation and (2) bernoulli equation. These are roughly the basics in pipeline engineering. Then look for a good textbook in basics of pipeline hydraulics (I have one for sale at N3,000). By then you should be conversant with the 2 pipeline flow regimes (laminar and turbulency) and other vital considerations (reynold's number, friction factor, pressure drop) in pipeline flow design.
After that you should be ready for the advanced level where you will be dealing with liquid or gaseous flow based on design code (ansi/asme) considerations (power piping-b31.1, process piping-b31.3, liquid hydrocarbons/other liquids-b31.4, gas transmission and distribution-b31.8, etc).
For the software competency, you should be looking at AutoCAD, Hysys, PDMS and CEASER II at a minimum.
If you are in Lagos feel free to contact me for materials.

I really appreciate your advice. I am an engr. so I understand clearly what you are saying.They are all in the regime of fluid dynamics.But where are U based ? Have little knowledge of HYSYS not not AutoCAD. I think I can easily get trained in that one too.

thax guy, i am interested in the materia on piping engineering design. i'm mechanical graduate from fut minna. i wish to specialize in piping,hysys or hvac design . thax man.or can we fix a date for training online. 07032431848. one luv
