Job Description
The Industrial Training Fund(ITF) and the Nigerian Employers' Consultative Association (NECA), in colloboration with Nigerian Breweries PLC, wish to admit qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake an intensive 6 - 9months training programme on Technical Skills Development in the following areas:
. Basic Mechanical Maintenance
. Pump Operation, Alignment & Maintenance, Packaging Machine Operation
. Basic Automation & Process Instrumentation
. Process Technological Control
. Hands on Training(Attachment)

With the following objectives:
1. To train and equip youths with self or employable skills in the vocational arears above
2. To promote a Public-Private Sector Model in Vocational/Technical Skills Training and contribute to capacity development.

Job Requirements
Candidates must possess NABTEB?WAEC TECH. /C&G Certificate with passes in English Language, Mathematics and threee other related subjects in the following trades: Mechanical & Engineering Craft, Electrical & Installation Maintenance, Welding & Fabrication, Instrumentation, Radio & TV Installation & Maintenance.

Applicants should not be above 22 years as at time of application.

Shortlisted applicants will go through a selection exercise(Aptitude test, oral interview, and medical examination). Candidates will arrange their own transportation, accommodation and feeding during the exercise.

Job Remuneration
Successful candidates will enjoy free tuition and lunch. It is a non-residential training at the technical Learning Centre, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Ibadan.
Trainees will not be entitled to Salary during the period of training. Trainees will be entitled to have hands-on training in any Nigerian Breweries location in Lagos, Aba, Kaduna, Ibadan and Enugu. This programme does not confer Nigerian Breweries employee status on the candidates.

All these written attacks on NBL are definitely uncalled-for .
We should understand peoples motives before passing judgements on them.
I think they should even be commended. How many companies in Nigeria offer to partner with industrial training fund to equip people with technical skills? Some companies even demand payment from students for industrial training.
Read the post well, those opportunities were not primarily designed for graduates, but mainly for technical school leavers.
