HOUSE,I APPLIED TO UNION BANK THROUGH GSE BUT REPLIED VIA TEXT THAT I WAS NOT SHORTLISTED FOR THE TEST. WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA USED TO SELECT THOSE WHO SIT FOR THE UNION BANK'S SPONSORED TEST WITH GSE?BESIDES,FOR THOSE PEOPLE THAT HAVE GSE LOWER SCORE CAN THEY DO THE TEST AGAIN BY PAYING ANOTHER 5K?LET ME KNOW BEFORE I APPLY FOR IT,PLEASE.
Am a passive member of this forum, but i thnk anybody in his right frame of mind shld be concerned. i wrote the GSE too( union paid). I had a score of 58 and was told its a very good score. they said the pass mark 4 union bnk is 20 and that i'll be invited for an interview soon. If there a very high credibility about the GSE thing, i want to belief i shld av bn invited by Union Bank. Its gonna be a month by 15th.
My advice goes to those paying to write the exam- pls its not advisable cos its not guaranteed. am beginning to think that the whole thing is a charade. I mean how can one xplain the fact that someone with a score of 80 did not "survive" the interview. what are we saying people. i dnt even subscribe to the idea of paying to write a job aptitude test. I will like MCWALE to tell us what he scored in GSE that got him called for an interview with GTB that he posted in his response so we can be able to pin down a cut-off mark on GTB via GSE.
I like the question that bankyshow raised that a person that scored 80 in GSE was not able to pass an interview at GTB. It is a sorry one that creates room for lots of questions.
House, dont you think it is high time GSE started adding the cut-off marks of the various firms to their profile on the Dragnet website to save them some embarrassment and correct unnecessary anxiety of applicants.
Least i forget, GSE should try to secure the GSE website cause the database can be stolen the way it is right now.

I wrote the GSE test of 26th september at there lekki office, till now i've not seen my result. i called their office and i was told by the lady that answered the call that i should visit the centre were i wrote the test. when i got there the young man at the reception simply took my phone number, name and e-mail address and assured me that they will get back to me. is over a week now, i ve not gotten any mail, call nor sms from them. please house judge for your self what GSE is all about. i rest my case.

Tp register, you jst have to open their site, click on register, fill the form then an email wil be sent to u via the e mail address u used to register.
The msg which wil come later to your box will contain your ID & password. jst b patient while doing all this...

Sorry House dat Icould not give answer to your question since, It just dat i was busy with the GTB training but thank God, I'm through and also I'm now a GTB staff. To the question, I scored 52% overall and I think GTB cut off is 50, which I believe dat's what they use for their test also. Furthermore, we are 8 of us that were employed through GSE. So for me, GSE is real and I wish all of u very BEST and keep the fire burning, u're almost at your destination.
