Pls do know that the programme is met for Geoscientists-, Petroleum -, Chemical-, Mechanical -and Electrical Engineers- that graduated with at least a 2:1 Hons degree.

What schools qualify as the top UK schools for masters? :-\
The advert will be out from May/June, just make sure you already have an admission in a U.K university before you apply. It is practically for Petroleum Geosciences and Engineering, I don't know if they will accept other courses this year and make sure you have a 2.1 too, except they bend their rules this year. Just watch out!

hello sammy thanks for the info. but i had 2.1 in statistics with computer science and i had a diploma in computer engineering do you think i will be eligeable for the scholarship if i secure an admission in for a masters program relating to engineering
nancyug, whats your stress about people being excited about an important info. Just peg yourself at a place and dont make good use of available opprtunities around you. tha truth u dont know is that our naija cert. is not very well accepted outside the shores of this country due to the educational blunders in our country. I advise u grab any opprtunity that come your way, be it job or oversea scolarship. its not a waste . one love

Nice one Sammie. Well the scholarship covers MSc. overseas and everyone with a UK admission letter is eligible to apply. For those with a 2.2, you can get the scholarship since some UK schools accept 2.2 as part of their admission requirement. Just look for the schools that can give you an admission with a 2.2 degree and you are home and dry. Don't forget to also prepare for the Scholarship exam. Success is our!!!!!!

For all of you who like to be spoon-fed, here's what u need to know:
Esso Exploration and production Nigeria Limited
(EEPNL) is offering International Scholarships to
outstanding Nigerian graduates who are currently
pursuing post-graduate studies (Masters Degree) in the
under listed disciplines:
* Geosciences
* Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical,
Civil/Structure, & Electrical/Electronics)
Essential Requirements:
1. Must be a graduate from Nigerian University with
relevant degree
2. Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree with a
minimum of second class upper division in any of the
above listed disciplines.
3. Must possess NYSC discharge or exemption
certificate. Candidates completing NYSC by September
2008 may apply.
4. Must have provisional admission/ accommodation into
any reputable university.
The EEPNL scholarship award applies to tuition, books
accommodation & feeding expenses for the duration of
the selected course of study including air fare to and
from the location of study.
Note that the application for last year ended by 26th June. Application for this year has not yet started, so be prepared. Hope this helps
