IITA, with headquarters at Ibadan, is an international Agricultural Research Centre in the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), which is an association of about 50 countries, international and regional organizations, and private foundations. IITA seeks to increase agricultural production in a sustainable way in order to improve the nutritional status and well-being of people in tropical Sub-Saharan Africa. The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable candidates for the above named position at the Institutes headquarters in Ibadan. Position Reports to and assists the personnel Manager, successful candidate will administer staff disciplinary policy/procedures, medical policy, staff welfare scheme and handle staff grievances procedures. Processes confirmation of appointments, separation of appointments of General and Senior Staff, Handle staff loans, counsel staff based on performance appraisal and assist with industrial relations matters, administer staff welfare schemes.



JOB REQUIREMENT

Candidate must have BSc/HND or equivalent in Management studies or any related field with at least 10 years post qualification relevant experience in a similar position.Must be a mature, patient and have good knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws.Quick at analyzing issues and proffering quality solutions. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and must be highly computer literate.
