Vacancy for Restaurnts Manager

We are an integrated food services company operating in Abuja, Nigeria, a key player in the hospitality industry. We offer food services which include restaurants, industrial catering, and outdoor catering, on – shore catering and event management.We parades royalty, style, comfort and excellence of International Standard in the hospitality industry. The outfit is being manage by highly trained, experienced, and professionally qualified management team.

• Manage/oversee the proper and profitable running of the restaurant in line with the Company’s Standard of Operations (SOPs). Ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the Company’s fiscal and operational guidelines
• Training and mentoring of new (trainee) managers.
• Responsible for the physical/aesthetic maintenance of the restaurant
• Responsible to meet or exceed budgeted sales & profit goals
• Staff orientation, training, development and management
• Manage food production to ensure absolute quality in line with approved recipes and procedures
• Product and recipe development
• Marketing: Develop initiatives to build sales, profitability & guest counts.
• Safeguard and manage company/restaurant assets
• Ensure monthly safety meetings are conducted & recommendations are acted upon as appropriate.
• Respond to customer’s comments in a constructive and positive manner, looking as such as an opportunity to build customer count. Educate & empower subordinate managers to act in full-fledged restaurant management capacity
• Report on operations and performance of the restaurant from time to time

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any field preferably in Hotel and catering Mgt., Food, Science & technology, Business Administration - Candidate must be able to demonstrate a good level of education to justify grade (Minimum of Second class lower)
• A minimum of Four (4) years of similar work experience in the same industry
• Business Acumen and ability to a take a strategic perspective
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great People skills
• Computer literate ( Able to use Microsoft office suite)
• Analytical and numerical skills
• High level initiative
• Proven track record of leadership and supervisory experience
• The ability to work long hours, including over weekends and public holidays
