Job Position: Biobank Manager
Job description:

• responsible for the management of all biobanking sample transfer and related sample data archiving for MRC unit
• will be required to play a key role in supporting collaborating sites in west Africa sub-region
• must be excellent communicator and leader with demonstrated potential for working within a team

Qualification:

• good working knowledge of training laboratory based staff
• good working knowledge care, use, and management of a board range of sample preparation and cold storage technologies
• good working knowledge of procurement of sources and storage procedures for laboratory consumables and equipment
• computer literate
• good communication in English both Oral and written
• excellent time management skills
• good organisational and staff management skills
• a minimum of a suitable master of science degree or its equivalent from a reputable university
