    Job Description:


    Candidates shall exhibit a thorough understanding of transportation engineering / planning concepts with demonstrated skills and extensive experiences in conducting and reviewing Transport Studies including Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) and corridor planning / engineering studies, the use of traffic engineering software such as HCS, Synchro, Sidra and VISSIM in addition to knowledge of the principals of transport modeling, intelligent transportation systems, intermodal / congestion management systems.


    The Traffic / Transport Engineering positions are mid-level positions with a minimum of 5 to 10 years experiences in all aspects of Traffic and Transport Engineering. The Traffic Engineer will assist the Senior Engineers in reviewing consultants work pertain to Traffic Impact Studies (TIS’s), review of transport studies / issues for road design projects, review of development site plans and make recommendations to improve traffic circulations. Assists in preparing Request for Proposal’s (RFP’s), selecting consultants, administration of contracts and maintaining the traffic database.


    The selected Traffic Engineer will be responsible for performing traffic investigations, providing recommendations to traffic/parking issues, development of traffic management schemes, technical report writing and responding to enquiries from local residents and clients.
