Welcome
With over 500 students from Nigeria London Metropolitan is one of the most popular universities in the UK for Nigerian students and is the first UK university to open an office in Nigeria.
The office, which is currently located in Victoria Island Lagos (moving to Ikoyi, Lagos from 1 June), is staffed by Lebari Ukpong, Director, Abigail Offor, Operations Manager and Seun Adeniyi, Executive Admin Officer. Staff offer guidance and support to students wanting to study at the University. The services include individual support and guidance, general advice sessions, visa counselling and pre-departure briefings.
Qualifications needed and how to apply
All applications must be made via the Nigeria Office unless you are applying for a Bachelors course starting in September (for these courses please contact UCAS
www.ucas.ac.uk)
To be considered you will need the following qualifications:
For the
International Foundation Programme (IFP) you will need at least 5 credit passes (4-6) from the SSCE (WAEC/NECO) including Mathematics and English Language.
For
undergraduate study you will need to have passed a recognised foundation course or hold Cambridge A Levels or have successfully completed the first year (100 Level) of an applicable Nigerian degree course or equivalent.
