The city of Helsinki is quite an expensive place to live, however, student must budget for enough financial means to cover the cost of accommodation, personal expenses transportation, meals etc. Generally, the cost of living in Finland as a whole is estimated at 700 euros every month, depending on ones spending habbits. Rent in the student dormitory is about 400 euros a month.
