Our Client is a major player in the Educational Sector and urgently requires a suitable candidate for the Vice Principal position as detailed below
Responsibilities:
To support the vision, ethos and policies of the school and promote high levels of achievement.
To support all staff in achieving the priorities and targets which the school sets for itself, and to provide them with support and guidance in implementing schemes of work.
To ensure that parents are well informed about the school curriculum, its targets, children’s attainment and their part in the process of improvement.
To develop a classroom environment and teaching practice which secures effective learning across the breadth of the Curriculum and provides a professional model, clearly demonstrating effective teaching, classroom organisation and display, and high standards of achievement, behaviour and discipline.
To support the Head teacher or Principal in the monitoring of the quality of teaching and children’s achievements including the analysis of performance data.
To support the Head teacher or Principal in developing links with parents, other schools, educational institutions and the wider community, including businesses and industry, in order to enhance teaching and learning and children’s personal development.
To support the Principal in the implementation of the school’s performance management policy.
Support the Principal in the appointment, deployment and development of staff to make most effective use of their skills, expertise and to ensure that all staff have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
To support the Principal in general management of the school effectively including in the absence of the Head teacher or Principal.
To work with the Principal and the Directors in establishing priorities for expenditure and monitoring of the effectiveness of spending and usage of resources with a view to achieving value for money.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of a Master's Degree.
Educational qualification will be added advantage.
Minimum of 7 years working experience with at least 3 years role experience.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in written and oral form.
Ability to read and analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
