Vacancy for the post of a head of engineering

Our company in the printing and press industry located at Lagos Mainland seeks the services of a Head of Engineering who will manage and monitor the unit for optimal performance which will measure up to meet desired Industry benchmark.
Applicant is expected to have the following uncompromising competencies, knowledge and capabilities to deliver results which will be aligned to organizational vision and targets.

Qualification: A minimum of B.Eng degree in Mechanical/Electrical and with other possible relevant qualifications.

Years of Relevant Experience: A minimum of six (6) years relevant experience in the management position

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Designing procedures for electrical/mechanical equipment, controls and management.
· Effectively manage and monitor team to meet required set goals.
· Liaise with required units to ensure smooth operations of the Engineering unit
· Meet with the demands of all relevant regulatory bodies for efficient work output
· Ensure the maximization of unit budget
· Advise on approach to consider, machines to purchase to meet industry standard and customer needs.
· Ensure report and documentation of all unit are properly done.

Person Summary:
· Deep knowledge for printing engineering and technical skills
· A proactive and vastly exposed personality with a can do attitude.
· Must have been a strategist planner with a systematic business sense.
· Should have developed an ownership and entrepreneurial mentality
· Must have a high sense of discipline and integrity and coordination
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
· Should be able to communicate effectively both orally and by writing.
· Excellent leadership skill
