Vacancy for nursery/preschool teacher

An international Montessori Nursery School in NUJ/Beachland Estate, Arepo (after Magodo), Lagos requires the services of a young, dynamic, focused and highly motivated individual for immediate employment.




Responsibilities:
Develop the social and communication skills of children and provide a safe and secure environment in which the child can learn.
Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with Curriculum objectives.
They facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
Any other duties as directed by the Administrator.




Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have B.Ed/ NCE with experience
Must be matured, seasoned, practical and flexible.
Previous experience with the Montessori teaching curriculum will be an added advantage
The nursery teacher should be familiar and comfortable with teaching phonics and most of the nursery topics.
Should be dramatic, creative and love children.
Should have good human and interpersonal relations
Should have excellent written and communication skill
Must be highly motivated and proactive
Must be hard working, able to multi-task and work for long hours
Must be a person of proven integrity.
