Job Position: Research Administrative Manager
Job Description:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all laboratory based activities related to aflatoxin bio control in Ibadan
• plan and prepare research protocols in consultation with scientist
• ensure quality of labs when and where needed field experiments
• responsible for maintaining database of all research results
• assist in the training of students staff and national program personnel
• collect and analyze and interpret data and prepare reports in a timely manner
• work with non governmental organizations and community based organizations
• liaise with the private sector partners farmer organization extension and services
• prepare promotional material draft popular articles for web based knowledge dissemination
• assist in the preparing of manuscript and grant proposal
• help in liaising with collaborators internally within IITA and externally in other organization
• assist in the recruitment of the right quality of personnel in consultation with the human resources unit
• any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualification:

• MSc degree in plant pathology/microbiology/environmental technology/biochemistry/ molecular biology or other related science
• strong interpersonal relationship skill
• experience in systematically following up on project deliverable
• excellent and proven management and organizational and coordination skills
