URGENT VACANCY FOR A CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

POSITION Chief Security Officer – Corporate Headquarters, Lagos

QUALIFICATION B.Sc/HND/ND in any relevant Discipline

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION Must be computer literate

EXPERIENCE Candidate must be retired police personnel. Candidate must not be below the rank of a Superintendent of Police (SP).

EXPERIENCE DESIRABLE Must have a good command of English Language and has managed the security network in either a manufacturing or construction industries with not less than 300 employees will be preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Must be able to guarantee the physical security, safety of employees and visitors in a large environment.
Must be able to prevent loss and fraud prevention by maintaining the various security books as well as the items used for the conveying of materials into the site and within the site.
Must be able to manage the development and implementation of security policies, guidelines and procedures.
Maintaining a good relationship with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
Must be capable of investigating security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
To oversee network of vendors who secures the company asset.
Must be able to prevent workplace violence.
Development of network access and monitoring policies.
To develop emergency procedure and incident responses.
Must be able to conduct audits to find lapses in security platform.
Must be able to develop risk management assessment.
Must be able to organize the required training required by the personnel.
Must ensure that safety codes are enforced.
Must be conversant with the the installation of security devices like cameras, cctv.
Must be able to able to create beats and conduct regular patrols.
Any other assignment as directed by the superior officers.
