Urgent vacancy for a cfo

Our client, in the manufacturing sector seeks the services of a Chief Finance Officer who will deliver strategic results for improved business growth.

Qualification: A degree in accounting and a professional certification as a Chartered Accountant.
Years of experience: Minimum of 11year of relevant work experience.
Gender: Male or Female Age: 43-47 years

Responsibilities:
· Develop annual budget for the factory and monitor budget performance.
· Develop financial model to ensure efficient factory operations.
· Create audit readiness framework that ensure external auditors execute process accurately within stipulated time.
· Upgrade all accounting manuals/accounting SOP ensuring compliance at all levels.
· Manage suppliers, vendors and other service providers.
· Oversee payroll pension and tax contribution payments, in conjunction with company’s policy
· Present weekly/monthly/annual reports/books to the executive management team based on strategy framework.
· Develop relationship with financial institutions for strategic project financing and relationship management.
· Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
· Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
Person Summary and Required Competencies
· Proven skills for strategy development and execution.
· Ability to lead a team of seven accountants to run factory operations.
· Proven account management skills and leadership skills
· Efficiency in the use of at least two current accounting soft ware e.g. Pastel
· Technical knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
· Professional in approach and disposition
· Excellent verbal and writing skill
· Must be able to create new and progressive ideas
· Ability to work and manage team to deliver required results
· Self motivated, result oriented, confident with strong business savvy
