Our organisation is a young and very fast growing online travel agency (OTA), providing customers with one stop shopping for the full range of domestic and international travel products and services – air tickets, hotel rooms, holidays, tours, and more. We are seeking a very intelligent and socially vibrant person who has all it takes to hit the ground running. Our mission is to be the largest and most profitable online travel company in Africa, by creating the most efficient online travel market for buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining relationships with key travel agencies, airlines, hotels, etc.
Travelling as tour guide to various locations within and outside the country.
Managing customer accounts and ensuring maximum sales and support where applicable.
Providing competition analysis on a weekly basis and advise on way forward.
Reviewing changes in products from time to time, depending on feedback from agents.
Production of correspondences and documents, as well as presentations.
Preparing weekly Reports and advise on areas of improvement required to boost sales.
Creating opportunities for new sales, both for existing and new accounts.
Advising the company regarding improvement, results, competition and new ideas, and also to assist with marketing and brand promotion.
Maximising online affiliate opportunities and revenue generation for the brand (with possibility of widening affiliate advertising schemes).
Updating clients and the organisations regarding civil aviation policy reviews, recent updates and changes that all customers must be aware of, etc.
Reviewing statistics and monitoring analysis on a regular basis.

Qualification and Requirements:
Minimum first degree, HND or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years work experience in the airline industry.
IATA training and certifications could be a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Deep passion, knowledge and understanding of the airline and hospitality industry is a must.
A flexible attitude with proven experience of working as team player.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite, such as MSWord, Excel, etc.
Must be a proactive and great positive thinker.
Ability to multi task and work under pressure.
Candidate must possess a friendly, helpful and outgoing personality.
Must be able to work efficiently and effectively without supervision.
Basic admin budgetary skills are very important.
Being Internet savvy and familiar with new IT and technology trends could be a plus.
