Job Description
A primary school in Gbagada, Lagos is looking to recruit Christian teachers to cover a long term placement which is due to start in September.
The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers and is also looking for a teacher with an excellent work ethic who is enthusiastic and positive.

Responsibilities:
Conducts activities that contribute to a climate where pupils are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
Identify, select, and modify resources to meet the needs of the pupils taking into cognisance the varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs of the pupils.
Maintains effective and efficient record keeping procedures.
Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with pupils, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
Be of professional and ethical standards especially when dealing with pupils, colleagues, and community.
Ensures that pupil’s growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification.

Qualifications/Experience:
You will need to have good classroom management skills and will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to a long term post and its responsibilities.
Applicants must be residing in Gbagada axis.
Must be experienced in a reputable school.
Must have good knowledge and understanding of the British and Nigerian curriculum.
