The successful applicant for this opportunity is a strong communicator, highly organized and a team oriented individual. Reporting directly to Head, Operations and Engineering your responsibilities include implementing, maintaining and monitoring the Quality Assurance, Food Safety and HACCP programs, Certificates of Analysis, and Specifications for all Raw Material, Packaging and Finished Product in the Meat Processing Plants. In addition you will act as the Coordinator for the implementation of the regulatory requirements for the meat processing operations and main contact for Third Party Audits.

We are an Integrated Agro-allied company located in Osun State.

Interested candidates should have:

  • Degree in Food Science or related discipline
  • Over 5 years Food industry experience, preferably spices and ingredients
  • working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Food Defense, Allergen Control, Pest Control, Kosher and Halal requirements
  • previous exposure to Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) audit requirements
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
  • laboratory competence including a thorough understanding of experimental design and skills
