Location: ondo

Responsibilities
Oversee the property development and construction projects from start to finish.
Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
Ensure that construction activities are undertaken as scheduled.
Undertake and manage project communications with various contractors and other relevant parties involved in execution.
Co-ordinate services/functions of component parties involved within a project - which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and labourers.
Manage performance and monitor progress of construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
Serve as a key link with the clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client.

Qualification and Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
A postgraduate degree in construction management will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction projects.
Good understanding of residential buildings – particularly home systems.
Demonstrated sense of ownership and ability to follow through projects.
Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards are essential.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across construction sites.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Excellent appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
