HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER
We are a high class exclusive Spa situated in Abuja with high brow members of the society as regular clients. We are known to be the best and most efficient establishment in this industry. We pride ourselves on our standard on-time delivery system, knowledge of our clients’ needs and desires, compliance with all safety regulations, a spick and span environment and professional and customer-oriented staff members.
We are currently in urgent need of a:
1) HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER:
This person shall be involved in the following:
• Keeping it clean: Ensure the maintenance of the environment. It must be kept in a neat, clean, orderly and odor-free manner, inside and outside, clean walls, furniture, windows, facility is vacuumed; vinyl floors are mopped, etc.
Ensure laundry is done efficiently and timely and resident’s clothing and linens and company properties are neatly put away.
Ensure maintenance of all restrooms, cupboards, closets and dresser drawers in a neat and orderly manner.
Ensure that all restrooms and their contents are maintained in a sanitary manner.
Ensuring stocks are up to industry standards.
• Heavy lifting: You don’t have to be Hercules, but you may have to push heavy carts full of cleaning supplies and lift objects like vacuums and buckets of water. You’ll also be on your feet most of the day, so wear comfy shoes.
• Customer Service Relationship: You must have a positive attitude. Housekeepers should be customer-service focused and friendly. You will be interacting with clients, so stay pleasant, polite and humble.
You must respect the privacy and property of clients.
• Other Job Functions
Supporting client’s choices whenever possible.
Understanding and following State and Federal regulations that are applicable to the program and all health and safety rules.
Follows Behavior Management Programs and procedures when dealing with clients’ incidents and crisis.
Develop and maintain observation skills necessary to identify behavioral and health needs and immediately report changes/concerns to the Director/Supervisor and writes incident reports in compliance.
Maintains a safe and clean environment at all times and reports all safety concerns to Director/Supervisor.
Attend required and regularly scheduled meetings and Inservice Training, including Team Meetings.
Maintain adequate supplies of food and household products and communicate needs to Director/Supervisor.
May be asked to assist with housekeeping at another site.
Must be able to meet and maintain minimum requirements of competency.
Performs additional duties as assigned or delegated.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
B.Sc./B.A./HND in any one of the following:
a) Business Administration;
b) Economics;
c) Home Economics;
d) Hotel Management;
e) Other related disciplines
EXPERIENCE:
At least 1 Year experience working in a hotel is COMPULSORY.
