Job vacancy for a shop floor/sales coordinator in a fmcg conglomerate

Our client, a FMCG conglomerate, seeks the services of a Shop Floor/Sales Coordinator for its shopping mall located in Ibadan, Oyo state.
Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will be required to:

• Effectively relate with customers on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and ensure an improving stream of new customers.
• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Supervise the customer service officers by scheduling and assigning officers to different aisles and ensure proper service is offered to customers.
• Make sure shelves are never empty and consistently restocked.
• Conduct orientation and training for store staff.
• Maintain order and the general cleanliness of the shop floor.
• Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Take inventory of all stock and supplies in the shop.
• Manage the pricing system by ensuring that all goods are marked with prices.
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Study market trends to determine need for sales promotion and clearance sales.

Qualification:
Candidate must have a minimum of a B.Sc or HND in a discipline relevant to the job position.

Experience:
Candidate must have up to 3 – 5 years experience of working in a similar role.
