Codix Pharma Limited is a fast growing pharmaceutical company with offices in Lagos (Nigeria) and London (UK). Our vision is to become the market leader in cardio- metabolic care (diabetes, hypertension and heart disease) in Nigeria. We intend to do this through patients’ education, introduction of innovative, quality but affordable products (medicines and monitoring devices) and development of our 21st century sales team.

We seek to fill the vacant positions of Medical Sales Representatives and Pharmacists in Kano, Benue/ Nasarawa, Kwara/Oyo, Lagos, Ogun





Responsibilities:
Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include per-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling

Making presentations to doctors, practice staff, nurses in General Practice, endocrinologists, and pharmacists in the retail sector

Maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff

Keeping detailed records of all contact

Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets

Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables

Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings

Keeping up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations

Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products

Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the health sector (especially our specialty area), anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly

Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector

Staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.

Contacting potential customers, identifying their needs, persuading them that your products or services (rather than those of competitors) can best satisfy those needs

Closing the sale by agreeing the terms and conditions, and providing

Effectively manage expenses and maintain desired sales to expense ratio






The ideal candidate must:

Be a graduate of science or pharmacy from a reputable university

Must have a minimum of one year experience in similar role

Driving skill with valid driving license be an added advantage (for pharmacists)

Good presentation skill

Excellent persuasion skill

Self starter

Excellent communication skill
