We are a premier Nursery and Primary School located in the central yet serene area of Wuse 2, Abuja. We offer a child centred blend of the British and Nigerian curriculum, incorporating cutting edge teaching techniques within a warm and nurturing environment.

In addition to the qualities listed below, our preferred candidates will be cheerful and tolerant individuals with a love for children. We expect an innovative and open minded approach to education, coupled with a practical understanding of the British curriculum and experience with working in a British School environment. We are also looking for computer literate individuals who can effectively utilize modern technology in the execution of their duties. Our ideal candidates have an excellent command of both spoken and written English, and are interested in being long term members of a diverse and rapidly developing learning community. Applicants with experience and/or qualifications in Special Education Needs will be at an advantage. Please note that applications WITHOUT verifiable teaching experience will NOT be shortlisted.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in the recruitment process of qualified candidates and overall management of the school’s HR office.
Maintenance of a detailed and up-to-date database of all staff and ensuring proper filing of their documents.
Implementing issues on policies such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and training and drivers’ management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
At least 3 years experience in Human Resource Management.
Must enjoy working with people and should be patient, tactful, diplomatic and approachable.
Must have good spoken and written communication skills.
Must be able to gather facts and statistics and make assessments, projections, policies and recommendations for planning and other uses.
Must have problem solving skills to deal with disputes, grievances and staffing problems and should be able to work as part of a team.
Should be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail and able to use databases, spreadsheets, word processing and accounts packages.
