Our Client is a major player in the Educational Sector and urgently requires a suitable candidate for the Subject Teacher position as detailed below

Responsibilities:
Check students into the hostel at resumption and at other times like half term. Ensure that all fees are paid and contrabands are rejected at the point of check in.
Ensure that a warm and conducive homely environment is created for boarders to live and learn.
Partner with management to make boarders obey all School and boarding rules and regulations at all times.
Instil discipline, decorum, and the fear of God in boarders without the use of abusive words and corporal punishment. Other positive and corrective disciplinary measures should be employed.
Keep adequate and up to date record of boarders in the hostel. Attendance should be taken twice daily - early in the morning and at night. This is standard boarding house procedure!
Keep a commendation as well as a punishment book. Document all misdemeanour and corresponding punishment in the punishment book.
Assist boarders to attain high moral, academic and spiritual excellence. Make sacrifices for them and generally mentor them for greatness.
Encourage boarders to discover their Talents and Gifts and Nurture it for their benefits, after all, the hostel should be home away from home!
Must be a present at all activities -meal times, prep time, game times, etc and monitor effectively. Remember, no one who ever gave their best, ever regretted it.
Organise and lead morning and Night devotion, bible studies, prayer meetings with the active involvement of the students.
Report all faults and repairs to the Hostel manager and maintenance unit promptly, and escalate to the principal, E D or Director if nothing is done within 24 hours.
Submit a detailed weekly report of events and activities in the hostel to the Hostel Manager.
Organise activities, games and Programmes that can stimulate the interest of the borders in the hostel.
Keep and take adequate record of boarder's valuables including but not limited to pocket money / stipend, laptops etc.
Administer first Aid to Students who sustain injury or are slightly indisposed before taking them to the hospital.
Represent the School well before parents and improve on your inter personal Skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:
B.Sc/HND.
Minimum of 2 years working experience.
Role experience will be added advantage.
