A major Property Development Organisation owning substantial commercial and residential properties in Nigeria seeks to fill this position
Responsibilities:
To perform the role of property manager, reporting to the managing director, and using performance management techniques, demonstrate and monitor achievement at agreed service levels and lead on improvement.
Achieve set letting/leasing targets on various developments of the company.
Conduct periodic market survey on commercial and residential properties in lagos, to gain crucial data on market trends, and to enable the company make an informed decision when setting rental rates to tenants on new developments, renewals and service charges.
Liaise with tenants of commercial and residential properties, resolve immediately all tenants complaints, and ensure that tenants carry out their various obligations as per lease agreements.
Direct and plan essential services such as reception, security maintenance, cleaning, wast disposal and recycling.
Ensure that buildings meet health and safety requirements, and respond appropriately to emergencies and urgent issues as they arise.
Assist management when required to project manage, supervise and coordinate work of contractors, check agreed work by staff and contractors has been carried out satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies.
Perform any other role that may be directed by the managing director.
Qualifications and Requirements:
BSC in Estate Management
Must have a professional qualification as an Estate Surveyor
An Understanding of both local and national real estate market.
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
Has a good understanding of the business environment and the impact their behaviour has on the reputation of the company.
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral form to both internal and external clients.
Must be very organized.
Creative and analytical skills is very important.
Proven ability to build strong client relationship.
Must be multitasked able to joggle jobs.
Sets goals and strives to achieve them with enthusiasm and determination.
