JOB TITLE

FACILITY MANAGER

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing building operations and services. Analyzes utility bills and energy output, allocates office space to departments, purchases equipment, and maintains appearance of building and all company assets.

Vendors, Contractors, Government Agencies.

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Line Heads, Administrative heads and the Finance Team.

JOB TYPE:

LOCATION

Lagos; Nigeria

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Budgetary preparation and control of expenditure to ensure cost saving.
· Soft service management including- waste collection, security catering, cleaning etc.
· Take pictures of employees and visitors for employee IDs and visitor badges.
· Ensure all company assets are duly insured as required.
· Maintenance of all company vehicle and management of all company drivers.
· Inspect structure of building and determine if repairs are needed.
· Oversee printing and reproduction services.
· Installation and management of the organization’s telecommunications systems.
· Allocation of office space, parking space and staff cabinets.
· Supervision of renovations and additions.
· Oversee groundskeeping in the organization.
· Transportation, disposal of, or relocation of office equipment and furniture.
· Supervision of custodial staff.
· Evaluation and adjustment of energy expenditures.
· Installation of greener appliances and fixtures to reduce energy consumption
· Organize meeting and lounge spaces.
· Ensuring tenant fit-outs are carried out to specification
· Ensure beverage and refreshment stands are adequately stocked and maintained.
· Maintain vendor relationships.
· Perform facility plant equipment obsolescent planning, budgeting and replacement.
· Perform environmental hazard management/planning and remediation.
· Ensure roofs and elevators have updated inspections.
· Implement programs and provide leadership.
· Ensure health and safety requirements are met and adhered to.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

® 3+ years experience in Facility Management
® Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in related field or evidence of relevant training appropriate for the role.
