JOB DESCRIPTION – ‘Executive)

BROAD AREAS OF ASSIGNMENT

• Sponsorship Coordination
• Marketing/Public Relations

SPECIFIC DETAILS:

Sponsorship Coordination

• Project Documentations & Strategy Development
• Prospecting, Lead development and management
• Proposals, presentation and sales pitches
• Negotiations and Closing.

Marketing/Public Relations

• Design specific market plans
• Conceptualize and direct public relations and tradeshow activities
• Direct and implement the company’s public relation strategies
• Arrange tours, set up appointments for new service introductions, and follow up on day-to-day activities of events and promotions
• Develop close relationships with print and non-print media representatives
• Generate positive publicity to enhance the reputation of the client[s]
• Provide news for the mass media journalists, as well as independent contractors
• Manage media relations, announcements, editorial placement, and speaking engagements
• Write press releases; train models; book photographers
• Handle requests for information and interviews
• Create and develop special events programs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE.

• OND/HND/BA/B.SC
• Minimum of 2 years marketing/PR experience. Exposure to strategic planning and implementation
• 1-2 years formal writing experience (newsletters, sales literature, marketing literature, proposals or presentation development). Multimedia experience a big plus.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching Channel Partners/affiliate Programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical background, with experience in Excel and PPT.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Must be able to travel 40% of the time
• Ability to work with high-level executives on various projects with tight deadlines.
• Must be knowledgeable about the fashion, modelling, beauty and lifestyle industry.
• Diplomacy, project management and negotiating skills are essential.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of the modeling and fashion industry.
• Knowledge of Nigeria Corporate market
• Understanding of marketing/PR techniques and methodologies
• Channel alliance management
• Business strategies and processes
