Dean, Auto Academy (Vocational Institute)
EZWON Educational Institute’s primary goal is to educate and empower young adults and promote equity within Nigeria. As a public charitable organization sponsored by EZWON HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION, EZWON will provide young adults with a safe environment where they can interact with each other, pursue their dreams through education, and learn essential life lessons. The Dean of Auto Academy at Ezwon Educational Institute shall be the Chief Operating Officer, reporting to the President of the Board of Trustees. This role involves providing academic, instructional, and administrative leadership to drive vocational educational effectiveness and achievements. Specifics of this role include but are not limited to:• Overall academic, administrative, and developmental leadership for the TVET institute• Primary interface with the Board of Trustees • Developing building and populating management structure for the vocational institute• Propose technical equipment requirements and specifications for procurement• Supervision of physical development/construction• Academic program design and curriculum development• Industry liaison and Technical training oversight• Responsible for establishing educational standards, and handling academic and practical training aspects • Overseeing planning and preparatory curriculum aligned with and meeting NBTE standards.• Participate in staff recruitment, staff orientation, student recruitment, and orientation.Requirements and Qualifications:• Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile engineering• 8-12 years of successful teaching experience/coaching teachers• Pioneering post-secondary/technical education institutes a great advantage• Knowledge of the National Board for Technical Education accreditation process.• Experience managing adults, setting professional development plans, curriculum development, implementation, and data analysis.• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.• Ability to lead, manage academic teams, and enhance organizational efficiency.Location: Okigwe.
