Accountants Needed Urgently

A leading retail company located in Ibadan is currently recruiting for the post of an Accountant. The preferred candidate should meet the following specifications;

EDUCATION/RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• ICAN Certified
• HND/BSC in any relevant field.
• 4—6 years work experience

REQUIRED JOB

• To ensure that proper books of accounts are kept and will produce the necessary accounting reports on a monthly basis.

• Plan, direct and coordinate all financial activities as stated below:
  
  • Strategies for sourcing funds to run projects and cashflow management.
  • Advice on financial strategies and issues.
  • Standard recording system and structures for all accounting transactions.
  • Financial analysis and companies profitability projections.
  • Produce and develop a detailed accounting manual (starting processes and procedures for all operations) for the organization.
  • Run the accounting software and plan to upgrade as required.

• Ensure proper reconciliation of the Company’s Bank balances with cash books. Liaising with Banks to ensure smooth operations of finances.

• Prepare staff payroll and manage staff loans and advances. Collection of Debts/payments due to company.

• Ensure that non-cash transactions are properly accounted.

• Supervise and ensure Accounting Officer deliver on assignments/responsibilities
