I believe the respone on the need for a new and bigger challenge is a better answer.

Also the need for better remuneration is okay.

its gud to answer in a very sensitive way.dont spoil ur present employee cos they will think thats what u will do when u r lreaving them too.just tell them u want a better challenge and that working in their establishment has been your priority.
Meanwhile,has anybody recieved any msg from oceanic?? i apply on line last month aand av not recieved anything,should i still wait or take it as one of those things that it has passed me by again pls i need an answer,sharp.thanks

Well to me, i dont see this question as an opportunity to badmouth past employers or peers or talk about a failure of any sort. Any of these answers are acceptable: you were looking for a new challenge, your learning curve had flattened out in the previous job and you were looking for a new learning opportunity, the company or department were restructuring, you were ready to start something new after achieving your career goals at the previous company etc. Ideally one need to show that you are in a position where you are happy with past successes and ready to achieve even more pronounced successes and take larger strides forward in your career. one love olayiwola Bambeke
