There are different kinds of flies, there are butterflies, houseflies, even insects are flies. So wot kind of flies are u referring to?
House flies of course,you should know that is what i meant.

Flies can "sleep" anywhere provided it is convenient for them!

I know of some flies that 'sleep' on ropes that we use to hang clothes outside. Every night they will line-up on the rope but by morning u won't see them again.
.broda u r funny it not a test/interview question. let me re-phrase it. everyday, especially at the north,we see house flies during the day but at night they seem to disappear into thin air. Is there a biological explanation 4 dis or it is a phenomenon?
