The answer is NOTHING, nothing exisred b4 God, nothing is more wicked than the devil, rich man lacks nothing and poor has nothing. so the answer is NOTHING and not poverty.

yap its a brain teaer quetion...but NOTHING seemed not to fit rigth...
come-on, the rich man do lack something which he dearly search for(of cousre money is not all) while the poor man also do have something(non material) to offer...though i agree with the fact that, NOTHING exited b4 God and NOTHING is more wicked than the devil... In my view, NOTHING does NOT really answer the riddle...As for 'POVERTY' it doesn't sound even close or wat do you think house?

"NOTHING" is very close to the answer. b/c God started everyhting, NOTHING existed b4 him. poor men have NOTHING in abundance. but I dont want to believe that the rich men are in search for nothing. some of them dont have peace of mind b/c millitants are in search 4 them.

I think the answer is PEACE i hope am right?
