Topic: A THOUGHT FOR THE DAY.

Sometime when you’re feeling important,
Sometime when your ego’s in bloom,
Sometime when you feel quite certain
You’re the cleverest man in the room.

Sometime when you think that your
Absence would cause an infallible hole,
Just follow these simple instructions
And see how it humbles your soul.

Take a bucket and fill it with water
Put your hand in it up to the wrist
Take it out, and the hole that remains there
Is the measure of how much you’ll be missed?

You can shake it around while it’s is there
You can stir up the water galore
But remove it and in a moment
The water’s the same as before.

The moral to this is quite simple
Do the best that you possibly can
Be sure of yourself, but remember:
There’s no indispensable man.
