Please i need 2 know the startin salary 4 1st bank fresh graduates. also wots d allowance for d training school? hw long will training school last for? all these are very important so a brother can make a life changing decision. please can any1 assist wit info???
Training is 4 4wks @ Abebe Village rd in Lagos. The amt 4 training i cant confirm, but a year ago, the starting was Ard 600k-gross.
I HEARD THEY HAVE REVIEWED THEIR SALARY STRUCTURE.
THEY PAY 1.2M ANNUALLY
1st bank is good 4 the big boys......... the pay is good. =N=1.2m pa....... =N=1.7m pa after 12month....... you can join the train of da big boys todaysssssssssssss!!!!!!!

I dont want to talk too much. i cant even start comparing their salary package with some new gen banks.
But know that an entry level CONTRACT staff in CHEVRON goes home with that same 1.7m u'll receive after a yr in 1st bank, and they grumble heavily coz their Permanent STAFF counterpart receive more than twice that amt outside other benefits.
It's good if you find urself in 1st bank but i think it's going to be BETTER in a place where financial reward with other values is immense.
No mean any harm to u nor First bank. Just what i think should be heard.

It is one thing to get a job......it is another thing to start discussing salary.
Get empowered first by taking the job and think of how you will add value in your daily contacts and to the job than ... to think (selfishly) about salary.
Remember that many graduates are out there waiting for that oppurtunity to come their way.
Let's us think in A manner which show "OUR CONTRIBUTION TO OTHERS THAN WHAT WE( in short term) WILL BENEFIT" for all riches belongs to GOD

Na wa 4 una. U dey say 1.2,1.7, 3.4 or more.
U no know say if u be ordinary cleaner 4 London u go feel make 4m in a year plus paying 4 ur school fees which is 500k per annum.

I am a CompTIA Network+ Professional and I know i worth 25 pounds an hr or 50000 Britico an annum in the UK.
I am aware of the fact that i am not supposed to be here while better opportunities exist elsewhere.

well every body is right in their own views about this.First bank is ok one of my cousins is going for the tranning in lag by next week and i think its a good starting point.but for me i dont think i can work in a bank ,there are other good jobs with good pay and its not the matter of bigs boys stuff. most of my friends and relatives are in NLNG and i know how much the take home every month..and for me am close to that .....so lets be wise.

hey guyz nothing to quarrel abt but l dnt see anything wrong with starting wt 1st bank or wld u rather he stays at home and wait 4 the golden NLNG, l know someone dat started wt union bank 2daqy he works wt chevron, be grateful and faithful for the little ones and the good Lord will definitely lift u up.
