Is Postgraduate diploma the same as postgraduate degree?

Please house i need some clearity on this

is post graduate diploma the same as post graduate degree

or is post graduate degree the same as masters

some body is trying to use my head. ???

PGD, Msc and PhD are all post graduate qualifications.
1. PGD is NOT a post graduate degree, afterall , it qualifies HND holders for Msc which is a post
graduate degree.
2. Msc and PhD are post graduate degrees.
So, in ascending order of superiority, we have B.Sc, PGD, Msc ,PhD.

MSc and PGD though post graduate qualifications, are two different things. Just like your OND and BSc. The PDG comes into play if you had a HND or you made a 3rd-Class degree or you are changing fields for your MSc

For example: moving from BSc Chemistry to M Eng Chemical Engineering will require PDG. in this case it acts as an introduction to the course. Simply note that PGD is not a degree in itself but also a diploma.

MSc in a post-graduate and its made those who nwant to advance in their respect fields. You will be aware now that you must have at less a second class or a third class with a PGD to do it.
