Oh! Let my NAME not be LOST (AFAMEFULA)
My name must not be lost is a passionate exclamation / proclamation by every natural man.
Every natural man would not want his family linage to be lost, hence the crave for male children.
As a result of this, the natural man is ever ready to do both legitimate and illegitimate things to ensure that his name is not wiped out in the genealogy of the family. In some cases, the natural man who has on male issues is ready to prevent one of his daughters from marriage and allow her to remain in the family in order to bear children that will keep the family name. In a related development, the natural man who is impotent is ready to lent out the wife to another man who will pregnant the woman in order to bear children for the sake of keeping the family lineage.
However, it may interest you to know real spiritual man has the same passionate desire and exclamation that his name must not be lost in the book of life. Be informed that there is a book where your name must not be lost from. Moses the man of God pleaded with the Lord to blot out his name from the book He has written if He will not pardon the people of Israel who sinned against Him in the wilderness (Exod. 32:9,32-34).
There is a book of record that is written that contains the names of all the redeemed from time immemorial, hence Moses requested that his name be blotted out from that book. You that is going through this message, is your name written in the book or is it not. Just as has been said earlier, every man want the continuity of his lineage, in the same vane, every wise man / woman should not allow his / her name to be lost in the book of life. Apart from the books that contains the names of every person and whatever category whether in sin or righteousness, there is another book which God Himself kept specifically for those whose sins have been washed by the blood of the lamb (JESUS CHRIST).
Any man or woman whose name is missing in the book will be cast into the lake of fire, meaning that such person will be lost forever (Rev.12:15)
Just as the natural man will do anything to ensure that his family is not wiped from the family lineage, you can avail yourself of the opportunity of the blood of Jesus Christ to do away with any form of sinful act such as adultery, fornication, cultism, hatred, illicit or seductive dressing, drunkenness, lying, stealing, false religion, etc. (Mark 9:43-45:Matt.10:26).
A heaven-conscious person is ready to reject any offer from the devil, no matter how alluring and fascinating it is. Any person whose name is not in the book will not live in heaven, irrespective of one’s social or economic status, because God is not the respecter of any person.”And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened and another book was opened which is the BOOK IF LIFE and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works… And whosever was not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the lake of fire” Rev.20:12, 15, Rev.21:15; 22:19. Every one who turns away from sin into righteousness by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour has one name transferred from the books containing all names of the inhabitants of this world into the book of life.
? This BOOK OF LIFE is for those who are living a saintly or sinless life. They are called heavenly candidate. Anybody, whose name is missing from this BOOK OF LIFE at the final of all things or at the end of the world, would have missed out completely and will regret eternally in a place of doom, anguish and torment called HELL FIRE. How horrible shall it be that you pass through troubles in this world of pain, and behold you are dumped in a place of unspeakable torment and crying because your name is missing from the BOOK OF LIFE. Remember, the wages of sin is death in hell but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. Rom 6:23. But one can avoid this fearful loss of one’s name from the BOOK OF LIFE. What you will do is, knowing that if you continue living without Jesus Christ till the end of your life that you shall eventually end in eternal misery and torment. There is then the urgent call for you to REPENT AND ACCEPT JESUS now, by turning completely away from your sins. To do this you have to follow this procedure:
? Confess sincerely your sins
? Forsake them all
? Ask Jesus to wash you with his blood
? Accept Him as your Lord and Saviour
? As you make this prayer sincerely, you believe it by faith, Matt. 11:22.
? After this, you need to be nourished and continually being cleansed by the undiluted Word of God.
