Topic: 20k job in Jos or 40k job in Lag, which should i choose?

You are lucky to have a job no matter how small the pay package is. Thank God first.
My advice is this, make a comparison of cost of living in the two cities, consider possobility of other higher opportunities in the two cities, are u sure that the promise being made to u in Lagos is real? A bird at hand is more than 10 in the bush.

There are still a lot to consider like priority and job satisfaction, is the place u are now your dream or will it take u to ur dream land with time? You may consider comfortability and accommodation issue in lagos too. I am in Lagos and I know what i am saying.

In all, pray hard for God's direction.

well am going to advice you based on xperience, bcos i was born and brought in jos and about to complete service in Lagos.

jos is a relative peaceful city, very good weather and u dont have to wake by 5:00am to get to work, u can wake by 7:00, leave home by 7:30 and still get to office b4 8:00. And above all cost of living is much cheaper compared to lagos. No traffic to worry about. But i must not fail to tell u that there are limited opportunities here..

Lagos is a land of opprunity and u get to meet professionals in the field. Even with the little paying job, u can explore your way to the very big and hot jobs , though they dont come that easy oh.
however u have traffic to worry about, depending on the distance from ur residence to ur office...sometimes i get home at 12:00am. and my dear cost of living no come easy oooooooooooooh.

if i will advice you, Lagos better pass oh, as long as u are ready to face challenges.
but u are in a better position to choose for yourself. pray and ask God for direction and he will tell where ur destiny belongs

Stay where you are! You can manage ur life in Jos with 20k, but 40k in Lagos will not take u past the 3rd week. Besides, after a couple of months, your Jos company will review your salary. A bird at hand .... However, if you are willing to try it, welcome to Lagos.

2.Who knows if the young man has a place to stay in Lag(Is not evryone that like staying with family members)

Forget about the job opptunities what happened to the countless graduates there? Are they not still jobless?

One of the things u consider in pikin ur jobs is location. Another thing is prospects which includes company status, your future there. Left to select, my choice would b Lagos.

My brother take the Lagos own. Both wages is poor, but in Lagos u stand the chance of getting a more better one faster.
