YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
Congrats to guys that have started with their NNPC interview, we pray they have a successful outing and also wish them the very best. That said, i think it will be necessary for them to start sharing their experience with those that are yet to do their own interview, this will also go along way to familiarize them with the interview settings, questions to be expected, dressing code or format etc for both the EH and GT.
Please drop your Experience! One Love
Thanks and Best of Luck for those yet to interview

it will start very soon, ok? just be patient guys

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
Guys be realistic, how can you expect people to discuss their experience with you when you are competing for the same position. I doubt if that is a fair thing to expect from anybody. I wont be surprised if nobody comes out to talk about their experience. Let us all prepare our possible best and pray that it will be well.

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
@jamakinde, people will think that u want to use their heads. A friend said u should have rephrased the title to " Share what u did right and what u did wrong during your NNPC interview". I will advise everyone to prepare very well for the interview, not to sit down and be waiting for people's experiences to enable you get undue advantage.
@jamakinde,Would you have posted this , if your interview was on the first day?

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
Sharing their xperience's unethical wen the interview process is stil on. Brethren, nothin gud comes easy, meaning God needs ur effort b4 he can empower you to possess ur possession. If thou wouldest believe, we wil meet at the training center in september. All the best!
-
Naija mentality! Why cant we just 4gest pestering ourselves n face d reality. The reality of 'notin gud comes easy' except by the grace of 'The most High'. Dat's wot you and me need and dt's wot we shud b praying 4. Remember the race is nt to d swift! If thou wouldest blive, we shall see at d training centre.

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
please be well assured that i will share every bit of mine own experience after i do mine on the 14th july.it is definitely a thing of lack of faith and in some forum members that make them think sharing their experience will limit their opportunity. How shallow they are|||||||
-
Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
@chosen one, u can share everything about ur interview right from how u entered the tower, how u sat down, how u introduced urself, all the questions u were asked, all the answers u gave and blah blah blah. Infact, go with a tape.Do u think u r doing good thing to forum members? Dats why we are lazy cos we dont research or strive to create something from nothing.
Pls am not against sharing experience like telling people dat u will be reimbursed(transport), telling people to read vast in all fields like field of study, current affairs, work experience, challenges encountered and how u were able to resolve them, NNPc, how u can create value in NNPC, why u should be employed etc. I believe the essence of NHJ is to guide people, improve their skills, providing relevant information, unite people, solve people's problem(positively),be our brothers keeper(positively), help people to get job(not by posting Company's question papers or Company's interview questions which are sensitive materials) etc. Pls let's be guided and know dat is not only job seekers that visit NHJ.

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
Guys asking for past questions should wake from their undergraduate mentality to the real world, don't you know codifentiality is treasured in the real world. Also note that when daniel was tossed to the lions he was saved if you toss yourself to the lions you'll be eaten because even lions pray to God for meals so stop misquoting the bible to spread/support your ignorance.

What about finding locations of oil wells on the map or working with compass whemtravelling to new locations. use your initiave my friend. You are relevant. you draw a map of an oil field for them. let me advise you. if u applied for GT, they are not expecting any experience from you. So, think of the general duties of regional planner and a geographer and let them know that you can fit in into any area you are trained for. That is my candid advise for you.

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
Everyone was speaking hausa. Imagine the lift operator asking me which floor i was going to IN HAUSA. I just stood and looked at him. He repeated it twice b4 someone explained what he was asking me. My panel had 3 out of the 7 that were visibly hausa including the chairman of the panel. I could not tell about the other ones. Anyways, its all in God's hands. They asked me to sell myself to them and why i wanted to leave my former place of work. Asked 2 questions based on my work experience and nothing on NNPC and its subsidiaries except how i feel NNPC compares with my former work place.
All the best guys. GT (Accounts).

Re: YOUR NNPC INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE (EH and GT)
guy,i know that the NNPC is presently dominated by southerners in the management team. the lift operator is not influential in any way to the process, and you wouldnt take that job.its only unfortunate that your panel had many hausas.but are you sure they were hausas or just spoke hausa...its abuja, its a native language.i speak fluent hausa too.i beg you not to be sentimental,it could be cloud your reasoning.you will make this interview, and God will be glorified.it has nothing to do with the composition of the panel

Its funny you advised someone not to allow sentiments becloud his sense of judgement only for you to come around and let your own sense of judgment suffer from your sentiments (see bolded).

That is not entirely correct. Yes, the interview is conducted according to test scores, state of origin AND discipline. I had my interview last week and I noticed it from other people's experiences. For instance, in my discipline, they interviewed ten people from a particular day. the next day, they interviewed another set of people in another state of origin in the same discipline. So, it is possible you are one of the best or the best in your discipline in your state of origin but not yet interviewed because it is not the turn of your state of origin. So, basically, it is a mix of discipline, test scores and state of origin, in a sequential order, meaning that not all the best in their respective state of origin wrote on the first day.
