The assessment centre had a very relaxed ambiance. When i first got there, i met diketron and a fellow from Uniben. We were gisting about general stuffs such as school life and such.
The assessment officially started around 9:30 am with the group discussion.
After a short breakfast, we moved on to the second part which was an impromptu topic you pick from a bowl. The topic for the day pretty much favoured electrical/electronics engineering graduates, to a great extent, and mechanical engineering graduates to a little extent. Fortunately for the civil engineering graduate amongst us, he had been hanging around electrical engineering grads that specialize in power generation for the past six months.......so he too had a lot to say about the impromptu topic.
The third and final part of the assessment was the one on one interview. This took, on average, 30 minutes per candidate.
PS: The lunch was of a 5-star hotel quality......very nice NBplc
