Job Title:Welding& Fabrication Supervisor.
Business Objective:To supervisewelding and fabrication activities in the workshop while maintaining high qualityHSE Standards.
To take responsibility forall welding and fabrication activities in the workshop to meet clientrequirements.
Core WorkingRelationships:Project Manager, Workshop maintenance and logisticssupervisor, Welders, HR Manager, Executive Assistant, Senior MechanicalEngineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES·Planning and organization of fabrication work.
· Supervision of welders and Fabricators.
· Responsible for Health, Safety and Environment at the workshop.
· Responsible for quality of work at the workshop.
· Working with welders to learn proper welding techniques of MIG, TIG and stick welding.
· Supervision of fabrication and welding works at the workshop.
· Carrying out inspection of welds, dimension checks and other quality checks to ensure quality.
· Supervision and training of junior welders.
· Read/interpret drawings and blue prints.
· Take responsibility for the safety and security tools and equipments in the workshop.
· Carry out equipment assembly and installation, both at site and in the workshop.
· Develop and maintain the company’s welding procedure specifications

REQUIREMENTS
·Must be able toread/interpret drawings and blue prints.
·3 to 5 years Welding/Fabricationand installation experience with MIG,TIG and Stick processes.
·Knowledge ofForklift operation.
·HSE Knowledge isvital.
·Experience inmechanical equipment installation will be an advantage.
·Experience inworkshop management is required.
·Diploma in anengineering discipline will be an advantage.
·Experience withvarious welding machines is expected.
·Ability to workon multiple projects simultaneously along with other team members
