s SAFETY OFFICERS
Responsibilities/Duties.
1. Primary function is to ensure the assets achieve requirement for safety, compliance with standards, project management systems and associated processes.
2. The job holder will work closely with the companies engineering and operations groups to ensure that a comprehensive advisory service is provided which takes into accounts specific engineering constraints.
3. The job holder will regularly travel offshore to conduct safety briefings and engineering studies.
4. Anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices.
5. Applies hazard control fundamental and techniques.
6. Conduct Operational Risk Management (ORM) assesment.
7. Help in making an efficient Safety Management System (SMS).
8. Measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control program
QUALIFICATIONS
- a Degree or Higher National Diploma in engineering, geology, computer science, chemistry or related discipline from a reputable higher institution.
- Must not be more than 27 years by March 2013.
- Youth Corpers passing out 2013 are encouraged to apply.
- Skilled in operation of personal computer and peripherals.
- Flexibility for adapting to different work conditions.


MAINTENANCE/SERVICE ENGINEERS
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts.
2. Provide period up-dates on network maintenance
3. Performing corrective and preventive maintenance of switch and access equipment
4. The job holder will regularly travel offshore to oil and clean machinery and parts, find and fix faults and calibrating instrument.
5. Manage spares, tools and equipment over haul and replacement
6. Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns
7. Understanding the basic principle of risk management and interpreting an offshore installation safety case.
8. Keeping compliance operations managers informed of progress


QUALIFICATIONS.
- a Degree or Higher National Diploma in engineering, geology, computer science, chemistry or related discipline from a reputable higher institution.
- Must not be more than 27 years by March 2013.
- Youth Corpers passing out 2013 are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to multi task in a high pressured environment.
- Ability to work in remote areas


ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTS
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Monitoring and documenting everyday financial activities of the company.
2. Maintaining and reconciling customers accounts.
3. Inputting invoices for suppliers and receipts for expenses into the system.
4. Maintaining cash book and imprest.
5. Preparing month end financial report
6. Ensuring compliance with Tax deductions and remittance.
7. Assisting, recommending and reporting to the Accountant.


QUALIFICATIONS
- a Degree or Higher National Diploma in accounting, Banking and finance, Management, marketing, business admin or related discipline from a reputable higher institution.
- Must not be more than 27 years by March 2013.
- Youth Corpers passing out 2013 are encouraged to apply.
- Accuracy with figures, can multi task, work under pressure and willing to do over time.
- Willing to get professionally qualified in 3 years (ACA, ACCA).
- Must be computer literate, good in MS word, MS excel


CUSTOMER CARE
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Promote customer care and help resolve queries of the customer in an ethical and informative way
2. To develop rapport with the customer base, greet by name, have knowledge of account ownership.
3. Maintain position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customers business confidential.
4. To follow code of business and ethics and other related policies, maintaining ethical and friendly behavior at all times.
5. To up-date any request made by customer into the system.
6. Be responsive and timely with correspondent and problem resolution displaying a caring attitude.


QUALIFICATIONS


- a Degree or in english, law, political science, international relations or related discipline from a reputable higher institution.
- Must not be more than 27 years by March 2013.
- Youth Corpers passing out 2013 are encouraged to apply.
- Must have excellent communication skills, very fluent, conversant, cheerful and tolerant.
- Willing to spend long hours on phone.
- Ability to work to tight dead lines

Thanks for the information. I actually got this job alert and I decided to post it here for people that might want to apply. I informed a friend about it and I asked him to apply, when he tried to apply he was told that they have contracted the recruitment to a recruiting firm and that he is expected to pay a sum of money to be considered for a position. When he told me, I outrightly told him that it is a scam. So house please Ignore this job advert. Sorry for posting it here. We have to be very careful.
