Our client a major player in the power sector industry in Nigeria, needs for urgent employment the following personnel:

SUPERVISOR

QUALIFICATION
B.Sc/HND/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering addition qualification is an advantage

REQUIREMENT:
v Qualify candidates are to report to the production manager.
v The summary of the job include Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Ensure smooth production operation during shift.
v Main Duties and Responsibilities:
v Supervises a team of staff, coordinating the daily provision and activities
v Responsible for planning and execution of projects as per given specifications
v Responsible for day to day works in section
v Co-ordination with various work groups
v Responsible for reporting to Production Manager
v Conversant with technical drawings
v Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
v Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
v Responsible to meet shift production goals.
v Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
v Coach and provide career development advice to staff
v Responsible for quality of product. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
v Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
v Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Production Manager
v Serve on committees and teams as department representative
v Ensure a clean and safe work area.
v Complete shift paper work.
v Must have had an experience in generator company especially coupling

EXPERIENCE: 2years exp. in Genset assembly and experience in generator coupling is highly recommended
