Treasury/Credit Officer

This role will be expected to:

? Ensure that suppliers are paid within the contractual time limit and the procedures for paying suppliers are adhered to.
? Prepare cash projections and daily cash budget within specified time limits
? Keep and update file on credit charges and predefined conditions with banks
? Prepare daily statement of daybooks of cash desks.
? Reconcile Bank Accounts.
? Manage and implement policy regarding customer outstanding debt.
? Organize and coordinate meetings on debt collection.
? Place investment orders in accordance with defined procedure.
? Transmit information on investment payments for preparing monthly flash.
? Manage insurance brokers locally.
? Manage and implement insurance policies.
? Monitor and manage insurance claims

The individual for this position must have:

? A good first degree in Accountancy or any finance related discipline
? Minimum of 5 years experience in a related role
? An MBA will be an added advantage.
? Knowledge in various accounting packages will be an added advantage.
? Excellent communication skills
? Excellent financial analysis and investment skills
? Good people management skills
? The individual must be ICAN certified
